Andries Meijerink教授,荷兰皇家科学院院士。
1963年出生于荷兰的奈凯尔克。
1983年进入荷兰乌得勒支大学学习化学专业
1986年于荷兰乌得勒支大学获得硕士学位。
1990年于荷兰乌得勒支大学获得了博士学位。

1996–至今 现为乌特勒支大学固体化学教授

其主要研究方向为稀土离子掺杂的无机物发光特性的研究,包括上转换、下转换、量子剪裁等新型发光材料的研究和开发。1999年在《Sciene》首次提出材料中量子剪裁现象,开阔了新的研究领域。2021年在《Nature》发表评论文章,评论在纳米粒子中观察到的光子雪崩现象。
目前主持国家自然科学基金1项、参与国家自然基金1项。
